The Samsonas Motorsport team is back in the U.S. this week with a very simple mission – to finish the rally at 100 Acre Wood. It will be the third time for Lithuanians Martynas Samsonas and his co-driver Ervinas Snitkas in Missouri. Back in 2019, they made their debut in the USA with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX prepared by Samsonas Motorsport dealer in U.S. Fercomp and had to retire at the end of the rally. The next time they were back in 2023, but this time in their well-known and home-built BMW M3 E36, which had previously been sold to the USA. After a few top 3 overall times, their BMW stopped after three stages due to fuel problems.
This time, the team traveled to the USA in advance to prepare the BMW M3 E36 at the Samsonas USA base in Charlotte, North Carolina, before heading to Missouri. As always, the team is supported by Paulo Ferreira and the guys from Fercomp, who took part in three rallies in the USA with this car in 2023.
