Where Samsonas powered cars will race in NASCAR Euro Series?

Gearboxes and dampers from Samsonas Motorsport are no strangers to various racetracks around the world, but there has never been a case in history where the entire starting field was equipped with gearboxes from Samsonas Motorsport. That will change in the 2025 season, thanks to the NASCAR Euroseries. All the cars competing in this series are identical except for the chassis. And all of these cars are equipped with sequential 5-speed RS90 transmissions from Samsonas. This is an improvement from previous years when mainly H-pattern gearboxes were used. So where will we see all 20+ cars in Europe next season? Let’s take a look.

April 12-13, Valencia, Spain

  • Length: 4.005 kilometres
  • Turns: 13
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2012
  • EuroNASCAR events: 13

Circuit Ricardo Tormo is a popular MotoGP track located near the beautiful Spanish city of Valencia. The longest straight on the calendar, at almost 900 metres, creates high speeds close to the 245 km/h top speed reached by the V8 EuroNASCAR cars. The arena-like layout gives fans the opportunity to see all the action and all the corners, despite being four kilometres long. Valencia is simply amazing and the perfect host for the EuroNASCAR season opener.

May 17-18, Vallelunga, Italy

  • Length: 4.085 kilometres
  • Turns: 14
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2020
  • EuroNASCAR events: 5

The Autodromo di Vallelunga, close to the Italian capital Rome, offers one of the most exciting layouts: the first two sections are incredibly fast and the rider’s courage is the key to being fast. The third sector is very technical, including the last corner, which is part of the oval that Vallelunga used to have at the beginning of its history. The expected high temperatures in Rome will also add to the challenge for the drivers and teams, while the fans will be able to enjoy the perfect weather and the Dolce Vita.

June 7-8, Brands Hatch, Great Britain

  • Length: 1.929 kilometres
  • Turns: 6
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2011
  • EuroNASCAR events: 13

More than 50,000 fans attend the most popular EuroNASCAR event of the last decade year after year, making the American SpeedFest the most successful event of its kind. A fairground, concerts and US car shows with lots of entertainment complete the perfect event. The races are held on the Indy Circuit, the second shortest track on the calendar, and the rollercoaster layout always provides plenty of action. Uniquely, the Indy Circuit does not have a single straight line as all parts of the track are curved in some way.

June 28-29, Venray, Netherlands

  • Length: 0.880 kilometres
  • Turns: 4
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2015
  • EuroNASCAR events: 5

NASCAR racing has its roots on ovals and the Netherlands has the most exciting existing American-style short track in Europe. The half-mile oval has a progressive banking of up to 25 degrees and carries the cars at an average speed of 150km/h. With a top speed of just over 200 km/h and close side-by-side racing, European fans can enjoy a true American NASCAR-style event right on the Dutch-German border.

August 30-31, Most, Czech Republic

  • Length: 4.212 kilometres
  • Turns: 21
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2019
  • EuroNASCAR events: 5

After the summer break the teams and riders travel to Most in the Czech Republic to race under one of the hundreds of beautiful castles in the country. The Autodrom Most requires a perfect flow with fast corners and technical sections. Turn 1 is a key point on the track, as the drivers have to slow down and shift into first gear after a long and fast straight. A brilliant show rounds off an event that no racing fan in Europe should miss.

Play-off’s

September 20-21, Oschersleben, Germany

  • Length: 3.696 kilometres
  • Turns: 14
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2023
  • EuroNASCAR events: 2

The Motorsport Arena Oschersleben is the latest addition to the NASCAR Euro Series calendar and the new home of the NASCAR GP Germany has proven to be a success story. The organisers have gone to great lengths to give the event a real American feel, with plenty of attractions around the track, an unrivalled campsite and a host of personalities from sport, culture and politics in attendance. The layout is perfect for the EuroNASCAR cars, with the 1,250-kilogram V8 beasts flying through the chicanes and corners of Germany’s northernmost circuit.

October 11-12, Zolder, Belgium

  • Length: 4.000 kilometres
  • Turns: 10
  • In EuroNASCAR since: 2015
  • EuroNASCAR events: 10

Host of the EuroNASCAR Finals for almost a decade, the Circuit Zolder is one of the most iconic layouts in motorsport history. A rollercoaster track in the middle of the Limburg woods makes the races not only spectacular, but also almost impossible to predict. The Circuit Zolder has been the scene of dramatic and nail-biting title decisions in the past and with tens of thousands of Belgian racing enthusiasts attending the event, grid walks and garage walks, the EuroNASCAR Finals in Belgium is always the perfect place to crown the champions.
