This latest addition has been specifically designed to meet the demanding racing requirements of the Nissan TB48 engine, offering unparalleled reliability in racing events.
This new addition to the Samsonas transmission family would not have been possible without our friends and dealers NMK Performance who initiated the idea. Three years ago, NMK investigated the market and found a gap, that needed to be filled – there was no sequential transmission for the Nissan Patrol and no company was working on it. The fact is that the Nissan Patrol has a huge market in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. There is a lot of competition between the garages that build and race Nissan Patrols. This legendary car is still used for drag racing, sand challenges, half-mile races, etc. in the desert, in the mountains or on usual roads.
Therefore, we have worked very cooperatively with NMK Performance to develop a strong and reliable transmission for the Nissan Patrol.
The main characteristics are like our RS90, which is a 5-speed gearbox with a torque rating up to 2,000 Nm. At the moment it is suitable for the Nissan TB48 engine, but we are working on expanding the range.
