James’ FD3S Mazda RX-7 has a 4-rotor 26B engine that runs at 11,000 rpm and produces more than 600 horsepower. All of this very loud and raw power is controlled by a Samsonas Motorsport RS90 sequential transmission. This car also has other very special things like aero front wheel covers and custom Ström wheels that were intentionally made to resemble the legendary Mazda 787B.26B that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in ‘91.
“I’ve been using Samsonas Motorsport Transmissions in all my own professional drift cars since 2016. Ever since the first time shifting the RWDS sequential I fell in love with the ease and speed of shifting. In 2021 we upgraded to the RS90 sequential transmission and have been really impressed by the strength and durability when using this in demanding competitive events with 1000+ bhp. No issues with 10+ events and maintenance only during the off-season. I highly recommend.”
